Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installation Technician to join our team. This position focuses on the installation of residential and/or light commercial HVAC systems, including equipment replacement, ductwork, startup, and system commissioning. This role is installation-focused and does not include service or repair responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, condensers, air handlers, mini-splits, heat pumps, and ductwork
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, and installation layouts
- Perform equipment change-outs and new system installations according to manufacturer and company standards
- Install refrigerant lines, drain systems, duct systems, thermostats, and ventilation components
- Ensure proper startup, testing, and commissioning of installed systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
- Communicate effectively with project managers, builders, homeowners, and team members
- Follow all safety guidelines, local codes, and company procedures
- Accurately document completed work and installation progress
Qualifications
- Experience installing residential or commercial HVAC systems preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is a plus
- EPA certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting awareness
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditions
Requirements
- Ability to safely use HVAC tools and installation equipment
- Ability to work full-time and occasional overtime when required
- Strong communication and time management skills

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
