We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. Duties

• Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Execute cake decorating techniques to create visually stunning cakes and pastries for various occasions.
• Ensure all food production meets safety and quality standards by adhering to food safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan menus and develop new dessert offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry station, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
• Assist in catering events by preparing large quantities of pastries as needed.
• Conduct regular inventory checks of baking supplies and communicate needs to management.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role within a culinary setting.
• Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety practices.
• Proficiency in baking techniques, cake decorating, and pastry production.
• Familiarity with culinary tools such as knives and mixers used in pastry preparation.
• A background in catering is a plus but not required.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not mandatory.
