Warehouse supervisor

Main Goal: 

To guarantee times of execution, schedule compliance, administer personnel, and equipment resources, to create a strategy to carry out every project in MOCA successfully.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of workers, including their work schedules, resources, equipment, project progress, and allocation roles by providing constructive feedback that ensures the quality guidelines and standardization processes.
• Train staff to perform allocated roles to contribute to the effectiveness of the QMS and comply with all procedures and policies established for the quality management system.
• Support the PM (daily report) by anticipating the upcoming needs (material, tools, or personnel), coordinating, and carrying out analyses corresponding to the site and vision of the current project to ensure deadlines are met.
• Inform the PM about any observation or changes required on the job concerning the design delivered by the client.
• Identify and mitigate job risks following OSHA, MOCA and client’s safety compliance and communicate them to the rest of the employees.
• Coordinate with the PM the storage and the mobilization of the toolbox to the following project.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• High School, associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or another relevant discipline.
• 2 to 3 years of experience as a Floor leader or in a similar role.
• Experience in the leadership of construction team.
• Certified Construction Manager or Certified Professional Constructor preferred.
• Osha 10.
• Heavy machinery (forklift, scissor lift).
• Fire extinguisher /Fire safety preferred.
• CPR and first aids.
• General contractor license preferred. 
• Certifications or accreditations related to leadership or management.
• Fluent English mandatory, Spanish preferred
• 5S methodology preferred
• Microsoft Office tools.
• Proper lecture of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
