What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Helper position at Moca Logistics?
Main Goal:
Help the Non-Inventory Controller prepare, organize, update and control the Inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Support in the reception, kitting, sorting, and deployment of the non-inventory.
- Manage inventory unit classifications and inventory mechanisms fluently.
- Assist with label deployment.
- Manage deliveries and receptions.
- Execute cycle counts of product inventories on a regular basis when required.
- Investigates discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventories, keeping a record of the data.
- Communicate to the Non-Inventory receiver when defective products are discovered and/or quantity discrepancies happen.
- Be a role model in safe work practices, especially when in a warehouse environment.
- Contribute to the effectiveness of the MS and comply with all procedures and policies established for the quality management system.
- Participate in the achievement of organizational and MG objectives.
- Such other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Associate degree in logistics, business administration, or similar preferred.
- CPR and FIRST AID (preferred).
- Fire extinguisher/Fire safety (preferred).
- 1 year of experience in warehousing, logistics, inventory, or similar job position.
- Experience working on warehouse projects with work teams.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel).
