Maintenance Supervisor- 1st ShiftSummaryThe Battery Systems Assembly Maintenance Supervisor Oversees the Maintenance Technicians and Provides First Line Support for all Production Machinery and Assembly Machinery.ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of BSA Maintenance Supervisor are to oversee the daily operations of the maintenance technicians and offer support for all preventative maintenance, repair, installation, and removal of parts from machines and equipment. Logging and tracking of work, parts used and procedures, as well as notating any abnormalities. This will require observing working practices and machines, root cause analysis, FMEA, and working with engineers/ manager to solve problems, diagnose machines, robots, PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, bearings, gears, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HMI systems.Basic QualificationsThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.Preferred Education and ExperienceThree (3) to Five (5) or more years of experience as Maintenance SupervisorThree (3) to Five (5) or more years of experience as Maintenance TechnicianHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentTechnical degree from an Accredited Technical Institute Working knowledge of automotive industryAutomotive manufacturing experienceKnowledge of production robotics Knowledge of conveyor systemsRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systemsKnowledge of both hand and power toolsKnowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) techniquesAbility to read and understand electrical schematics.Working knowledge of servo and stepper motorsWorking knowledge of Control Systems, PLCs, and HMI systemsKnowledge of Preventative Maintenance PracticesKnowledge of SAP and CMMS systemsWelding to include SMAW, GTAW, and GMAWWorking knowledge of Lock Out Tag OutAutomated production line experienceExperience with SAP and CMMSFamiliarity with Lean work practicesCertificates, Licenses and Registration:Preferred Mechatronics BackgroundPreferred Electrical BackgroundPreferred knowledge of Lithium based battery systems.Working Conditions60% on production floor, 40% in office workExtensive walking and standing on the production floor.Extensive bending, stooping, laying on floor and climbing.Occasionally lift up to 50lbs aloneFlexibility to work multiple shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.Team based working environment.Required to always wear PPE correctly.Hyundai MOBIS benefits include excellent Medical/Vision/Dental Insurance, paid holidays, paid time off and competitive 401k plan.Internal Team Member applicants are required to meet the following guidelines:Applicants must possess the minimum skills, education and/or experience requirements of the position as designated on the job posting.Applicants must have demonstrated acceptable performance in their current position.Applicants must have fewer than three (3) Attendance Points, in accordance with Mobis North America electrified Powertrain, LLC Attendance Policy, as of the date of the job posting.Applicants must not have any pending or active Corrective Actions, as of the date of the posting.Applicants must have successfully accomplished all assigned training requirements, if any.
