JOB PURPOSE
The Recruiting Lead plays a key role in driving and supporting the organization’s recruiting function. This role serves as a subject matter expert and project lead within recruiting, operating with minimal supervision and providing strategic insight, guidance, and coordination across recruiting initiatives. The Recruiting Lead is responsible for attracting, evaluating, and recruiting top-tier candidates across various positions while leading recruiting projects, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with organizational and legal requirements.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Act as a recruiting lead and subject matter expert, providing guidance, insight, and best practices to recruiters, HR partners, and hiring managers without direct supervisory responsibility.
- Lead and coordinate recruiting projects and initiatives, including process improvements, training programs, and system or reporting enhancements.
Ensure the following recruiting standards are consistently met:
- Positions are posted within 36 hours of receiving final approvals; advise managers on internal and external postings and plan for consecutive and/or concurrent postings.
- Relocation processes are facilitated, approvals obtained, and budgetary compliance maintained; ensure relocation policies, guidelines, and candidate expectations are followed.
- Organizational announcements are completed within one week of a new hire or promotion and by the candidate’s start date.
- Recruiting tracking reports (open and closed positions) are accurately maintained and distributed in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain company-wide recruiting training programs, resources, and standards.
- Create, maintain, and update recruiting SOPs to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance.
- Ensure departments maintain accurate FTE and agency headcount aligned with approved budgets.
- Keep management informed of recruiting risks, challenges, and progress, and obtain necessary approvals as required.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting, including WMM, Recruiting Tracker, Sign-On and Retention Bonus Tracker, quarterly relocation reports to Payroll, and other required reports.
- Analyze recruiting metrics and trends, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Utilize diverse sourcing strategies, including job boards, social media, networking, and recruitment agencies, to attract high-quality candidates.
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from job posting through onboarding, ensuring a positive and consistent candidate experience.
- Monitor recruiting-related expenses (job advertising, recruiting events, relocation) to support cost-effective hiring outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the recruiting process.

- Demonstrated ability to operate as a recruiting lead with minimal supervision.
- Successful leadership of recruiting projects and initiatives that improve efficiency, quality, or compliance.
- Effective coaching, knowledge-sharing, and guidance provided to recruiters and stakeholders (without direct reporting relationships).
- Strong partnerships with hiring managers, HR, and external agencies to support timely and effective hiring.
- Accurate, timely reporting and reliable recruiting data.
- Measurable improvements in recruiting metrics, processes, or candidate experience driven by insights and recommendations.
- Clear and effective communication with leadership regarding recruiting progress, risks, and opportunities.

- Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR or equivalent; combination of work experience and education will be considered
- 4-6 years of progressive experience in HR as Recruiter
CERTIFICATIONS
- PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP, Preferred
SKILLS
- Use of intermediate software packages (word processing, spreadsheets)

Compliance/Implementing Policies
- Ensure that new policies are understood and taken seriously in order to comply with relevant laws, policies, and regulation. New policies and procedures are communicated to employees, supporting them with adequate/timely resources, and monitoring actual practices that clearly state full compliance is expected. Will avoid behavior and/or communications that may send mixed messages about the importance of new procedures or suggest full compliance is optional.
Reporting
- Able to provide, collect, and organize valuable data in order to submit an accurate analysis of specific facts. This may directly impact the effectiveness of the decision making process, ability to identify patterns, and the improvement of business performance.
Auditing
- Carefully prepare and examine records to ensure accuracy, adherence to guidelines and consistency. Able to help improve internal processes such as operations, internal controls, risk management and governance.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Light/non-strenuous daily activity - Up to 5 pounds.
Employment Type - Exempt, Annual Salary
Compensation - The expected hiring range for this position is $90,000.00 - 100,000.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
