Duties

• Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through personalized communication and follow-up
• Conduct route driving to visit retail stores, clients, or distribution points efficiently and safely
• Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction
• Manage automobile transportation logistics, including safe loading, unloading, and heavy lifting following proper safety practices
• Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations during all driving and transportation activities
• Maintain accurate records of sales, pricing adjustments, and customer interactions for organizational clarity
• Support merchandising efforts at retail locations to ensure product displays are appealing and well-stocked

Experience

• Prior retail store experience or customer service background demonstrating strong communication skills
• Familiarity with pricing strategies, upselling techniques, and basic math for transactions and calculations
• Experience in commercial truck driving or route driving preferred but not required; training provided if necessary
• Knowledge of heavy lifting and safe lifting practices to handle merchandise efficiently
• Understanding of DOT regulations related to commercial driving is advantageous but can be learned on the job
• Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, route planning, and client communications effectively
• Ability to build rapport quickly with clients, demonstrating excellent customer relationship building skills
