Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming.
- Carry out custodial duties including restocking supplies, emptying trash bins, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used properly and maintained in good condition.
- Conduct periodic deep cleaning tasks as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained.
Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness in various environments while adhering to safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of residential painting can be beneficial but is not required.
