A leading AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a mid-level Patent Litigation Associate to join its nationally recognized intellectual property litigation group. This team is built for hands-on experience, offering a strong partner-to-associate ratio and direct access to senior litigators on high-stakes matters.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in patent litigation matters in U.S. district courts.
- Participate in ITC investigations and PTAB proceedings.
- Draft substantive motions, briefs, and case strategy materials.
- Take an active role in fact and expert discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
- Work closely with partners on case strategy, client interaction, and key decisions.
- Contribute to matters that often move toward trial or final hearing.

Requirements
- 3–5 years of patent litigation experience at a law firm.
- Experience representing both patent owners and accused infringers.
- Exposure to district court litigation, with ITC and/or PTAB experience preferred.
- Technical background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
- USPTO registration is a plus, but not required.
- Strong academic credentials with excellent writing and analytical skills.
- Admitted to the Texas Bar (required).
Benefits
Salary : $260,000 - $365,000
