We’re looking for an experienced Buyer III to join our Guidewires & Abrasives Division in Ramsey, NJ. This division supports a wide range of industries—from medical device manufacturing to aerospace and precision industrial applications—giving you the opportunity to work across a diverse and technically advanced supply chain.
This position reports directly to the Manager, Supply Chain and plays a key role in ensuring materials and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with production and customer needs.

Compensation
Salary Range: $81,903 – $100,331

What You’ll Do
- Manage end-to-end purchasing activities for assigned commodities and suppliers
- Analyze demand, forecasts, and production schedules to ensure material availability
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while driving performance and accountability
- Identify cost savings opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues
- Maintain accurate purchasing data in ERP systems
- 5 years of purchasing or supply chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and product lines
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Primarily office-based within a manufacturing environment
- Regular use of computers, ERP systems, and standard office equipment
- May require time on the production floor to support operations and supplier-related activities
- Ability to sit for extended periods with occasional standing and walking
- May occasionally lift or move items up to 15 pounds
- Must be able to communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers
