Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) | Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities

Key responsibilities:
- Provide basic life support (BLS) within the EMT scope of practice
- Safely operate and maintain emergency vehicles in accordance with state and local regulations
- Deliver competent, compassionate patient care in a variety of transport and clinical settings
- Apply EMS protocols and procedures effectively in practical situations
- Communicate professionally with patients, families and healthcare personnel
- Document patient care accurately in our electronic charting system
- Assist fellow EMS providers and provide thorough handoff reports
- Maintain equipment, ensure vehicle cleanliness, and restock supplies
- Demonstrate ethical conduct and commitment to patient care and safety
Required qualifications:
- Current EMT certification (state-specific requirements apply)
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Physical demands:
- Safely operate EMS vehicles and essential medical equipment
- Ability to bend, sit, kneel and lift up to 125 lbs; push/pull over 50 lbs
- Maintain physical agility for safe patient handling in demanding environments
- Tolerate extended periods of driving or riding in an ambulance
- Perform effectively in physically strenuous and emotionally challenging situations
