Title: Clinical Services Manager Department: Clinical Services

Reports To: Director of Clinical Services

About the Role: The Clinical Service Manager is responsible for leading the implementation and clinical integration of VERDA/MMIC customer programs across healthcare systems. This role combines clinical expertise in Sterile Processing (SPD), deep knowledge of AAMI industry standards, and strong customer-facing skills to support hospitals in achieving compliance, operational efficiency, and improved instrument quality outcomes.

The position serves as a strategic partner to hospital leadership, Sterile Processing teams, Infection Prevention, and Facilities departments, ensuring customer programs are successfully deployed, adopted, and sustained.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent to a trade school in the Healthcare industry.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in Sterile Processing, Clinical Services, Infection Control, or healthcare quality improvement.

· Strong working knowledge of ASNI AAMI standards (especially ST79 and ST108).

· Experience conducting clinical assessments or operational evaluations within hospitals.

· Proven ability to lead customer-facing implementations, ideally for Sterile Processing Departments.

· Strong presentation skills for customers and internal training related to industry standards.

· Ability to travel regularly, 50%

Essential Job Functions

· Lead the implementation of VERDA ST108 Water Quality Management Programs for customers.

· Collaborate SPD leadership, Facilities/Engineering, and Infection Prevention to align program goals with operational workflows.

· Provide ongoing customer support to ensure program sustainability and long-term adoption.

· Lead the onboarding and transition process for MMIC customers utilizing mobile SPD units, ensuring alignment with customer operational needs and vendor equipment trainings.

· Conduct comprehensive on-site troubleshooting assessments of Sterile Processing Departments, including:

a. Instrument reprocessing workflows

b. Water quality and steam quality practices

c. Equipment performance and environmental conditions

d. Compliance with current AAMI standards

· Document findings in a structured, professional assessment report.

· Provide actionable recommendations focused on risk reduction, regulatory compliance, and process optimization.

· Support customers with root-cause analysis for instrument damage, staining, wet packs, and sterilization quality issues.

· Deliver educational training programs to customers focused on AAMI standards (including ST79, ST108, and related guidance).

· Develop training materials, presentations, and customer education resources.

· Serve as a subject-matter expert for customers regarding sterile processing best practices and water/steam quality compliance.

· Support the commercial sales team by providing clinical value and expertise in the SPD space.

· Represent VERDA/MMIC at industry conferences, tradeshows, and customer events.

· Deliver educational presentations and clinical sessions related to sterile processing, water quality, and AAMI standards.

Physical Environment & Work Conditions

The physical and environmental requirements below represent the essential functions of the position and can be performed with or without reasonable accommodation:

· The regular schedule typically follows an 8-hour workday, Monday through Friday, with general availability expected between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern. Occasional flexibility may be required.

· Office-based work includes extended periods of sitting, computer use, and detailed data review.

· Candidates living outside of Vermont will work remotely and are expected to maintain a professional home office environment that supports video conferencing, focused work, and the secure handling of customer information. MMIC provides all employees with a company-issue computer and mobile phone for business use.

· Field work requires regular travel to customer sites, approximately 50% of the time.

· The role may involve moving safely within mechanical rooms, utility areas, and healthcare environments.

· The role may require walking, standing, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, and reaching.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
