Grill Cook – Zest Culinary Services (formerly known as MMI Dining Systems)

Location: University of Mobile

Zest Culinary Services, a part of MMI Hospitality Group, is seeking an experienced and energetic Grill Cook for a dining location on the campus of the University of Mobile.

As a Grill Cook, you'll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality, great-tasting food to students, faculty, and staff. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in their culinary skills, and understands that consistently delicious food isn't just the goal—it's the standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items to order, maintaining speed, quality, and consistency.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Engage with guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume kitchen or grill cook environment.
• Proven customer service skills with a guest-first attitude.
• Positive attitude with a team-oriented and hospitality-driven demeanor.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and flexible in scheduling.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
