The Shipper is responsible for handling all shipping duties, including preparing, labeling, and processing outgoing shipments,and maintaining accuracy and compliance in all warehouse activities.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pmKey Responsibilities:
- Process outgoing shipments through IQMS, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Process UPS and FedEx shipments.
- Receive and verify incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and proper inventory placement.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records, including bills of lading and freight documents.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality concerns immediately.
- Operate forklifts and hand-held scanners safely and effectively.
- Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) utilization and maintain 5S standards throughout the warehouse.
- Assist with quarterly inventory and general warehouse organization.
- Follow all safety and environmental procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with shipping and receiving responsibilities.
- Forklift certified (or ability to become certified).
- Experience using scanner equipment and warehouse management systems (IQMS preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Manufacturing environment that may be hot, noisy, or dusty.
- Requires substantial physical activity including reaching, lifting, and stepping on/off forklifts.
- Shipping and receiving performed in all weather conditions (snow, rain, heat).
- Responsible for ensuring all products meet quality standards before shipping.
