Our partner is a global enterprise (15,000 employees) undergoing a full-scale multi-year cloud transformation consolidating legacy data centers, VMware environments, and multi-cloud systems into a modern, AWS-first platform.
They are hiring a Senior Cloud and Infrastructure Engineering Manager to take end-to-end ownership of this transformation – developing project roadmaps, setting strategy and governance standards, building and managing internal teams and 3rd party vendors, driving execution across architecture, migration, and platform engineering.
This is a highly visible role with executive exposure, offering the opportunity to own, define, and drive the long-term cloud strategy of a global enterprise while building and optimizing a scalable and secure Cloud infrastructure.
What You’ll Own
- Build, lead, and mentor a team of cloud, infrastructure, and server engineers
- Own and define the enterprise cloud strategy, roadmap, and execution plan
- Lead the transition to an AWS-first platform across a complex, hybrid environment
- Drive large scale migration and modernization initiatives (rehost, replatform, refactor)
- Partner with executive leadership to align cloud initiatives with business priorities
- Establish long term vision for infrastructure and cloud operations
- Establish team structure, hiring strategy, and talent development plans
- Provide technical guidance while empowering senior engineers to execute
- Act as a key leader across engineering, infrastructure, and SRE functions
- Guide implementation of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD practices
- Ensure best practices in scalability, reliability, and performance
- Partner with application, DevOps, security, and business teams to drive adoption
- Influence and align stakeholders across multiple business units and geographies
- Manage vendor relationships (cloud providers, tooling, infrastructure partners)
- Governance, Security & Cost Optimization
- Establish cloud governance, security standards, and compliance frameworks (NIST/CIS)
- Ensure implementation of security best practices (IAM, encryption, zero-trust)
- Reduce complexity across on-prem, VMware, Azure, and AWS environments
What You Bring
- 10 years in cloud, infrastructure, or platform engineering
- 5 years leading teams in enterprise-scale environments
- Proven experience owning and driving large-scale cloud transformation programs (AWS)
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence at the executive level
- Deep expertise in AWS and cloud architecture (hands-on foundation required)
- Experience building and scaling DevOps and platform engineering practices
- Expertise with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Strong understanding of hybrid environments and migration strategies
- Experience with cloud governance, security, and cost management
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with technical depth

Salary : $160,000 - $200,000
