MMC Group is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Irving, TX!
This is a client-facing sales role within the staffing agency environment, focused on developing new business and securing professional-level staffing engagements across the United States.
We are expanding rapidly and looking for a driven, relationship-focused sales professional who excels in identifying opportunities, building trust with hiring leaders, and delivering tailored staffing solutions.
This position offers no territory restrictions, no commission caps, and the ability to reach a six-figure compensation package within your first year based on performance.
Responsibilities:
- Identify firms seeking staffing support for professional contingent, temporary, contract-to-hire, project-based, and direct hire needs
- Execute sales activities including outbound cold calls, virtual meetings, on-site visits, presentations, and networking
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers using phone, email, text, social media, and face-to-face communication
- Develop strategies to win new business while nurturing existing accounts
- Create and manage initiatives that drive demand for MMC Group’s staffing services
- Negotiate pricing structures to ensure competitive returns while delivering high-quality client solutions
- Present and promote MMC’s services by addressing client needs and forecasting staffing requirements
- Use a blend of technology and relationship-based outreach to expand market reach
- Contribute to Request For Proposal (RFP) responses as part of the proposal team
Requirements:
- 3 years of client-facing staffing agency experience in sales or account management required
- Demonstrated success in business development, account management, or staffing sales within a metric-driven environment
- Strong willingness to make outbound calls, schedule meetings, and build new business relationships
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video, social channels, and in-person
- Experience thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Resilient, results-driven, self-confident, and committed to high performance
- Willingness to attend networking events and promote MMC Group’s services
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with MS Office, MS Teams, and SharePoint
