Inventory Control Clerk

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk to support purchasing, inventory management, and facility operations at a manufacturing facility in Tempe, AZ. This role will assist with purchase orders, material tracking, inventory levels, vendor coordination, and administrative activities supporting maintenance and production operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and help ensure timely procurement of critical materials and supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels for maintenance and operational supplies and help maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Support purchasing activities while following established company procedures and inventory controls.
• Assist maintenance teams in forecasting material, parts, and tool requirements for preventive maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with maintenance, production, purchasing, and other cross-functional teams to support operational needs.
• Assist with managing contracts and service agreements for facility services, including HVAC, janitorial services, equipment repairs, and related vendors.
• Prepare reports related to purchasing activities, costs, inventory, and vendor performance for management review and audit purposes.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and vendor records.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to facility management, procurement, inventory control, and compliance.
• Help identify inventory or purchasing issues and communicate potential shortages, delays, or discrepancies to the appropriate teams.
• Perform other duties related to inventory and facility operations as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or coursework in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, or a related field is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience working in an office, warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment.
• Previous purchasing, procurement, inventory control, or materials management experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of purchasing software, ERP systems, or inventory management systems is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of facility maintenance, manufacturing operations, and material requirements is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively with maintenance, production, purchasing, and other cross-functional teams.
• Strong data entry, recordkeeping, and administrative skills.

• Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week in Tempe, AZ.
• Standard hours are 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with some flexibility based on business needs and the hiring manager's schedule.
• Must be flexible to work varied hours and overtime as needed.
