- Provide hands-on patient care and assist with vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, and other clinical tasks as directed by the RN.
- Support patients and their families to create a positive care experience, integrating patient-centered principles with kindness and respect.
- Enter patient data into electronic health records accurately and communicate relevant information to the nursing team.
- Assist with rounding, responding promptly to patient care requests, and transporting patients safely.
- Maintain departmental supplies, perform inventory checks, and support clerical operations to ensure smooth workflow.
- Participate in safety programs, adhere to personal protective equipment protocols, and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Help orient and educate new staff members as assigned.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- Completion of a 75-hour CNA course certification is required.
- Must be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry at the time of hire.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association is mandatory.
- Completion of a Mandatory Reporter course at or within six months of hire.
- Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while prioritizing patient care and team needs.
- Strong communication skills, including age-appropriate interaction with patients.
- Commitment to ongoing personal growth and staying current with clinical procedures and safety protocols.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to participate in team meetings and training sessions.
