This role ensures plant electrical and instrumentation systems are safely inspected, maintained, and repaired to support reliable operations and minimize production downtime.
- Install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems
- Work with motors, motor starters, controllers, inverters, switchgear, lighting, and circuits up to 4160V
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, valves, transmitters, controllers, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns efficiently and safely
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions
- Complete work orders, inspections, documentation, and parts requests using company systems
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and mobile equipment safely
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support safety, reliability, and continuous improvement
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Electrical trade school education or equivalent hands‑on training and experience
- 3–5 years of experience in an industrial environment
- At least 3 years of direct electrician experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently, respond to call‑outs, and work overtime as needed
- Electrician certification
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC systems, voltages, inductive devices, fault interruption, and distribution
- Experience using measuring devices and working with analog sensors
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards and best practices
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft applications
- Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset
