Dispatcher/Manager - Lumber Company

Location: Sanford, NC

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Working with a busy lumber company dedicated to providing quality products and outstanding service to thier customers. Were looking for a reliable and organized Dispatcher to join the team and help keep our operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and dispatch trucks for lumber deliveries and pickups
• Communicate daily with drivers, customers, and yard staff
• Monitor routes, track deliveries, and adjust schedules as needed
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and route records
• Assist with planning efficient delivery routes and coordinating loads
• Ensure excellent customer service and timely communication
  
  

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation (preferred)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with scheduling or dispatch software
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of the lumber or construction industry is a plus
