Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join a growing organization and provide meaningful financial insight across project performance, inventory, and operational reporting. This position will partner closely with Accounting, Sales, and Project Management to analyze financial data, identify trends and opportunities, and help leadership make informed business decisions. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable turning complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate project financials, including costs, performance, profitability, and overall financial health
- Partner with Sales and Project Management teams to identify potential project concerns and recommend solutions
- Analyze inventory activity and develop reporting around utilization, turnover, trends, and other key metrics
- Collaborate with Accounting to support accurate and timely financial reporting
- Prepare financial comparisons, variance analyses, and ad hoc reporting for leadership
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, control costs, and streamline or automate reporting processes
- Translate financial and operational data into insights that support business decisions
- Assist with ongoing financial analysis and special projects as business needs evolve
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
- 5 years of relevant financial analysis experience
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Hands-on NetSuite experience preferred
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across accounting, sales, operations, and project teams
