CNC PLASMA BURN TABLE OPERATOR
JOB DESCRIPTION
The CNC PLASMA BURN TABLE Operator is a vital member of the MK Metal Products company. Plasma burning parts correctly, expeditiously and in a safe manner assists in allowing the company to meet customer requirements and maintain customer satisfaction and retention.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Nest parts to be burnt from sheet/plate using Radan nesting software
Prepares work to be accomplished by studying material pick lists, CAD drawings, and operation routers.
· Selects programs for the PLASMA BURN TABLE from the company network as identified on routers and sets the PLASMA BURN TABLE to appropriate specifications.
· Checks stock to determine amount available and anticipating needed stock.
· Loads sheet/plate raw material onto PLASMA BURN TABLE by lifting stock into position via forklift and/or overhead crane and sheet lifter.
· Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces, adhering to standards.
· Run and monitors the cutting of parts.
· Remove cut parts from skeleton
· Deburs and removes sharp edges as necessary.
· Troubleshoots and resolves PLASMA BURN TABLE cutting problems by replacing tools or altering settings on machine; notifying supervisor of problem and potential solutions.
· Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions and troubleshooting malfunctions, contacting supervisor as appropriate.
· Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
· Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level and anticipating needed supplies.
· Documents actions by completing production and quality logs as may be appropriate.

Physical/Cognitive Essential Functions:
