We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness in all areas.
- Conduct thorough commercial cleaning of offices, restrooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Maintain and care for floors through buffing, stripping, and waxing as needed to preserve their appearance.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote sustainability within the facility.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to uphold a clean environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of floor care practices, including buffing and maintenance, is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
