Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial facilities, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Utilize specialized cleaning equipment such as buffers and floor scrubbers to maintain pristine floors.
- Conduct janitorial duties like trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Carry out industrial cleaning tasks when needed, including high-level dusting and equipment sanitation.
- Assist with custodial maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management.
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and tools responsibly.
- Maintain detailed logs of completed tasks and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work; custodial experience is highly valued.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing floors.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and facilities maintenance procedures.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers, floor scrubbers, and vacuums safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure thorough cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
