Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both residential and commercial painting, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. This role requires proficiency in various painting techniques, knowledge of color theory, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Painter will be responsible for executing projects from start to finish, ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as necessary.
  • Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
  • Mix and match paint colors according to specifications and color theory principles.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion.
  • Conduct renovations and restorations on various structures while maintaining quality standards.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the painting process.
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as caulking, plastering, and trim carpentry as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations on construction sites.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction estimating and basic math skills for project calculations.
  • Familiarity with industrial painting techniques and materials.
  • Experience in renovation, remodeling, and restoration projects is preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
  • Knowledge of plastering, stucco application, masonry work, and concrete finishing is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and welding techniques is advantageous.
  • Previous maintenance person experience or construction site experience is desirable.

Pay: $19.00 - $27.50 per hour
