What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant position at MJM Manufacturing, Inc.?
Accounting and administrative assistant to provide clerical, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll support for precision metal manufacturing company.
Duties include:
- Process daily customer billing and collections.
- Audits vendor invoices against purchase orders and receiving documentation.
- Reconciliation of Vendor Accounts.
- Process A/P weekly.
- Issue Credit application letters as directed.
- Answer phones and greet customers.
- Manage all incoming and outgoing mail - Sort and distribute.
- Processes payroll and prepares necessary payroll reports when required.
- Help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other general accounting projects.
- Complete other related duties and assist with special projects as needed.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Monday to Friday.
- Profit Key Application is PLUS but not required. Will train.
- Prior A/R, A/P, Bookeeping, Payroll.
