Job Overview
We are a construction Company Based in Miami.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper and Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will support the organization’s financial health by performing precise data entry, reconciling accounts, and preparing essential financial reports.
Knowledge of Media required.
Responsibilities
- Manage and record all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Houzz Pro. Specially ALLOCATE COSTS PER JOB.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
- Conduct account reconciliation activities to verify the integrity of financial data across multiple ledgers.
- Assist with payroll processing, requirements as needed. Workmans compensation Compliance.
- Support budgeting efforts by providing detailed financial data and reports for management review.
- Write clear financial reports and summaries to communicate organizational financial health effectively.
Experience
- Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Houzz Pro.
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, including double entry bookkeeping and financial concepts.
- Familiarity with GAAP standards, bank reconciliation procedures, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable processes, journal entries, and account analysis.
- Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently for data entry tasks.
- Prior experience with payroll processing and tax compliance is desirable.
