What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Industrial Electrician position at MJB Wood Group LLC?
This industrial electrician position will be a part of the maintenance team. You will be tasked with maintaining, repairing, and upgrading existing electrical equipment. Other maintenance responsibilities include testing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing problems with equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Connect electrical power to industrial equipment
- Determine wiring layouts
- Install brackets and hangers
- Bending, threading and installing rigid conduit
- Install, replace and repair electrical equipment
- Pulling and installing wiring throughout structures
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
- Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
- Repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices
- Must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds
Requirements:
- 8 years, recent, work experience as an industrial electrician and/or equivalent field.
- PLC Experience
- Industrial experience
- Perform general physical activities common to the electrical trade
- Committed to safety
- Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented, multitasker and able to manage multiple schedules for the most efficient throughput
- Must have ability to handle flexible/changing schedule
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent Excel and Analytical skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
