Salary Range: $70,000 – $89,000

Key Responsibilities
- Work in a project team to support our land development group projects from initial project programming up to and through construction
- Experience with land development activities including land use regulations and zoning specific to project development.
- Assist senior engineering staff with preparation of plans and reports to support applications to municipal land use boards. Assist in presenting to land use boards on behalf of our clients.
- Experience with design standards applicable to water distribution, sanitary sewer systems, stormwater management inclusive NYSDEC stormwater regulations.
- Complete field work including testing, inventory, and inspections.
- Participate in the construction administration support including shop drawing reviews, reviewing / responding to RFIs, completing periodic site inspections.
- Communicate effectively and coordinate with project team members, including subconsultants and other disciplines.
- Technical engineering lead and/or project manager on multi-discipline projects
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET- accredited college
- Registration as an Engineer in Training (EIT) is preferred or ability to obtain within 18 months of employment
- Proficient in Microsoft productivity suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Technical knowledge and proficient in the use of Civil 3D, HydroCAD and other engineering software platforms
- Ability to work within multiple design teams and execute to meet demanding schedules
- Technical writing, solid verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with clients, project teams, and colleagues
- Must be a U.S. citizen or be eligible to work without an employer sponsorship
