We are seeking dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operators for full-time opportunities in Chesapeake, VA.
Position Details
- Schedule: 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
- Pay: Low-to-mid $20s per hour, based on experience
- Location: Chesapeake, VA
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials
- Transport products throughout the warehouse
- Assist with receiving, inventory, and order preparation
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company and workplace safety procedures
- Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
- Previous forklift operating experience
- Ability to operate equipment safely in a busy warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including standing, bending, and lifting
- Willingness to complete any required screening or equipment evaluation
