Payroll Accounting Specialist (International Payroll)

This role is ideal for someone who is strong with numbers, highly organized, and takes ownership of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with processing payroll for international employees in 12 countries and ensure timely payroll funding.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for international payroll vendors and assist with payroll-related inquiries and issue resolution.
• Review and maintain payroll and employee data for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare journal entries and post transactions into the accounting system.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and assist with month-end closing activities.
• Support audits and reporting requests by providing accurate payroll and accounting records.
• Partner with internal teams, including HR, Finance, and Payroll, to ensure smooth processing and timely communication.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• 3-5 years of payroll and/or accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
• Knowledge of payroll and accounting systems.
• Strong Excel skills, including knowledge of VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Understanding of payroll accounting and journal entry preparation.
• International payroll experience preferred.
• Reliable, proactive, and self-managed with the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with multinational or international payroll operations.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar accounting systems.
• Prior experience supporting payroll reconciliations and financial reporting.
  
  

The expected base salary ranges from $92,000.00. - $130,000.00. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
