Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment while supporting food preparation and service operations. Duties
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans ensuring cleanliness and proper sanitation standards are met
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning items
- Support kitchen staff with bussing tables and clearing plates during meal service
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Help with catering setups and banquet functions as needed
- Handle food items safely according to established food handling procedures
- Ensure all kitchen areas are organized and stocked with necessary supplies for efficient operation
- Follow safety protocols including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Skills
- Experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks such as chopping and assembling ingredients
- Familiarity with bussing, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety guidelines
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen staff and servers
