About Mixed by Nasrin
Mixed is a Brooklyn-based DTC printwear brand designing everyday statementwear that inspires you to live in full color. We are a fast-growing, founder-led brand entering a new stage of scale and looking for a sharp, hands-on content creator and strategist to own and elevate our organic social presence.
Role Overview
We are hiring a Social Content Producer to own Instagram organic content for Mixed from strategy, to shoot, to publish. This is a hands-on, in-person role. You will develop the content strategy, capture content, write copy, and manage publishing. You will work closely with the founder to translate brand perspective, product stories, launches, and cultural moments into content that builds audience, deepens community, and performs. This role has a path to full-time for the right person.
What You'll Own
Content Strategy
- Own the Instagram organic content strategy and publishing calendar
- Develop content ideas and creative hooks that grow audience and strengthen brand presence
- Shape what gets made, how it gets packaged, and when it goes live
- Leverage our rolodex of creators and videographers and use your own
- Partner with the founder to create founder-led content that aligns with the brand
Content Creation Production
- Film and capture short-form and static content independently using iPhone (provided), in-studio, on location, and on set during brand moments
- Produce content end-to-end: concept, capture, edit, caption, publish
- Turn founder perspective, product launches, behind-the-scenes moments, and community stories into compelling social content
- Maintain a consistent volume of 3 posts each week without sacrificing quality
Performance Growth
- Monitor organic performance weekly and use insights to improve content hit rate
- Take accountability for audience growth, engagement, reach, and overall content quality
- Understand the relationship between organic content, brand storytelling, and paid performance
Weekly Deliverables
- 3 published posts per week minimum
- Weekly content capture sessions producing raw media assets
- Weekly performance notes: what worked, what didn't, what to test next
Who You Are
- 3–5 years of experience in DTC, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or creator-led brands with demonstrated organic growth results
- A natural creator — you shoot high-quality content on an iPhone with strong instincts for lighting, framing, and pacing
- A social networker with a rolodex of creators you can tap into
- Deep understanding of short-form content, hooks, and platform-native storytelling
- Comfortable on camera, behind the camera, or both
- Strong editorial instinct and creative eye for what builds community and resonance
- Comfortable operating independently and making decisions with minimal direction
- Excited by a founder-led environment where speed, judgment, and initiative matter
- Based in or near Brooklyn and available to be on-site regularly
Who You Are Not
- Someone looking for a strategy-only role. This is hands-on creation!
- Comfortable at the idea level without owning execution through to publish
- Overwhelmed by a fast-moving environment with multiple priorities in motion
- Overly precious about content. You understand how to balance quality, speed, and volume
- Purely brand-minded without understanding performance, or purely performance-minded without strong creative judgment
- Someone who needs constant direction to move work forward
Salary : $55 - $60
