Lamination Line Operator - Night Shift (2204)

The ALPOLIC Division of Mitsubishi Chemical America is seeking a dedicated Lamination Line Operator to join our night‑shift manufacturing team. This full‑time position operates on a 12‑hour schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:15 AM, following a biweekly rotation in which employees work four nights one week and three nights the next, with every other weekend is a three-day weekend off. This unique shift structure means team members work the equivalent of six months per year while receiving full‑time pay and benefits.

The starting pay for this position is $18.00 per hour, with open progression opportunities through our Pay‑for‑Skills program as additional competencies are achieved. An additional $1.44 per hour is paid for night shift differential, and those scheduled on weekends earn an extra $2.00 per hour weekend premium. This role is also eligible to participate in our annual profit‑sharing bonus program, offering further earning potential as part of our commitment to rewarding team performance and company success.

The Lamination Line Operator facilitates the completion of work plans as created by the Scheduler, department supervisors, or manager. The Lam Line Operator also ensures proper materials are used to meet quality standards. The position is responsible for operation and control of processes as assigned and monitoring and operating process control equipment.

• Monitor and troubleshoot operating equipment
• Keep work area clean
• Adhere to safety and environmental rules
• Document the use of materials and time required in the production of materials and products
• Control and operate equipment safely
• Maintain quality standards by inspection of materials, control of process, and continuous sampling and testing of both product and process
• Use scientific rules and methods to solve problems
• Provide value to our customers through effective operations of assigned work area and support to the facility
• Observe gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure machinery is working properly
• Replenish inventory as needed
• Support supervisors and team in training and cross-training efforts
• Must be able to maintain Forklift license as issued by Mitsubishi

EDUCATION

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
  

Experience

• One to two years of manufacturing experience; machine operation preferred

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment to include safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and additional PPE as required

• Must be able to climb ladders and stairs
• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, forward reaching, and twisting
• Occasional squatting, crouching, and above shoulder reaching
• Ability to stand for extended period
• Dexterity manipulation required for use of hand tools and light equipment
• Must be able to push/pull material using pallet jack
• Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs., occasional lifting up of 50 lbs.
• Moderate exposure to temperature change in non-climate-controlled environment with potential of working near heated processes
• The salary range for this position is $18.00 - $21.44. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
