The Coil Coating Line Supervisor-Night Shift organizes workforce, materials and machines to complete work plans as created by the Scheduler and/or Department Manager.
The Supervisor also ensures company policies and procedures are followed while maintaining a safe and productive workplace. The Supervisor will train and motivate operators to meet company goals and customer requirements.

- Implements safe work practices through training and development of operators in procedures for process area and company operations
- Trains and monitors operators and plant for safe work practices as well as adherence to company policies and procedures
- Training and development of operators in procedures for process area and company operations
- Leadership, morale, team building, and discipline of department operators.
- Time management of both workforce and machines
- Monitors test and inspection by operators to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Accurately documents and reports consumption and output for materials, machines, and workforce - including review of time clock and vacation/personal time off usage
- Performs annual reviews and performance evaluations for operator improvements and pay adjustments
- Strives to meet company goals
- Is driven to continuous process improvement
- Maintain Forklift license as issued by Mitsubishi
- Other duties as assigned by department manager
- High school diploma required
- College degree desired
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing facility required
- Supervisory experience in manufacturing desired
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong math skills
- Good command of the English language
- Ability to write and edit work-related documents
- Public speaking to conduct training activities
- Proven troubleshooting skills
- The salary range for this position is $73,050 - $109,574. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
