About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations at our Mesa, Arizona facility. This role is critical to driving operational excellence, safety, quality, and performance across multiple departments while supporting a business with great financial annual production impact.
As the second-in-command to the Plant Manager, you will play a key leadership role in aligning people, processes, and resources to meet production goals, improve efficiency, and support long-term business objectives.

What You’ll Do
Lead Safe, Efficient Operations
- Champion a strong safety culture where nothing comes before employee well-being
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain high standards for quality, delivery, and cost control
- Own production schedules and execution to meet customer and business demands
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Manage labor, materials, and equipment to achieve cost-effective results
- Monitor, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Lead and develop a team of 5–10 direct reports across multiple departments
- Coach, train, and mentor employees to strengthen capability and engagement
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Partner closely with quality, maintenance, logistics, planning, and supply chain teams
- Support capacity planning and future production needs
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure material availability and resolve issues
- Act as a key operational partner to the Plant Manager
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10 years of people leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working in regulated environments (ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or ISO 13485)
- At least 5 years of experience using ERP or MRP systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for reporting and presentations
- Background in plastics manufacturing and/or CNC machine shop operations
- Proven success leading process-driven, high-accountability operations
- Experience interacting with customers as needed
- Travel up to 10% as required
- Positive, hands-on leadership style with a continuous improvement mindset
- Lead operations with significant business impact
- Partner closely with senior plant leadership
- Influence safety, quality, and operational strategy
