Production Manager

Terry H2O Solutions is a division of Middleby Corporation. Middleby Corporation is a publicly traded global manufacturing leader in the food equipment market that focuses on the Foodservice and Beverage, Residential, and Food Processing Markets.
Terry H2O Solutions offers a range of water treatment solutions that are integrated directly into the water supply line. These products cater to a broad spectrum of water treatment requirements and are tailored for use in various establishments including restaurants, hospitals, schools, and commercial kitchens, as well as for misting systems and other scenarios where mineral scale accumulation is an issue. We are located in Chandler, Arizona.
We are looking for a Production Manager to join our team. They will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of production to ensure the team and processes are running efficiently. The ideal candidate will achieve the production schedule and communicate any roadblocks in delivering the production schedule to management and developing solutions.
Responsibilities
Supervisory
· Supervise and evaluate performance of team members
· Interview candidates and select the best fit for filling open positions
· Handle employee relations issues, escalating as needed
· Address performance, behavior, and attendance issue
· Implement documented corrective actions as needed
· Manage and approve time off requests
· Foster a productive work environment while strengthening morale
· Develop team’s skills and performance quality
Production
· Setting productivity goals for team members to ensure production is meeting customer and organization expectations
· Assigning orders to team members based on production plan
· Track and record completed orders, providing status as needed
· Resolve problems or delays in production
· Ensure all products meet quality standards
· Identify, recommend, and implement improvements
· Collaborate with facilities manager to ensure physical layout maximizes workflow
· Escalate maintenance and repair work needed, finding solutions as needed
· Enforce health and safety precautions and regulations within production area
· Conduct safety trainings to prevent LTIs
· Train or delegate training for new hires
· Maintain a clean and organized works environment
· Operate forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse equipment
· Introduce LEAN concepts such as 5S to the team
· All other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
· Highschool diploma or GED
· Previous experience in a manufacturing setting
· Forklift certified preferred but not required; training can be provided by company
· Experience with Microsoft programs, ERP, WMS, or other operations related systems
Qualifications
· Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English
· Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in Spanish (preferred but not required)
· Basic mathematical skills (additions, subtraction, counting)
· Ability to apply reasoning when troubleshooting
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds
· Must be able to operate machinery such as a sitting forklift and a power jack
· Ability to bend, squat, stand, sit, kneel, and reach overhead
· Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
· Ability to use manual finger and wrist dexterity to handle, grasp, and control objects of all sizes
Schedule:
· Monday through Friday 7AM to 3PM; flexible This schedule is flexible and can be changed with production needs

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
