Position Overview: The Manufacturing Engineer I provides hands-on engineering support to ensure efficient production, technical excellence, and continuous improvement within our manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating across teams, and applying technical knowledge to real-world manufacturing challenges. Key Responsibilities: Support the transition of new products into manufacturing by driving efficient process scale-up. Design and perform experiments using DOE principles, analyze data, and document results to establish process specifications. Develop, test, and refine manufacturing processes and equipment to improve efficiency and product quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to develop and implement process improvements. Write standard operating procedures and work instructions to transfer processes from Engineering to Production. Contribute to continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or related Engineering field; or Associate degree with at least 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience. 0–3 years of mechanical design or manufacturing engineering experience. Experience using SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software. Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, manufacturing methods, and process troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Knowledge of drawings, specifications, and dimensional tolerances. Experience with FEA, CFD, or CAE tools a plus. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
