Job Overview

• Type: Full-Time, Onsite
• Location: Chandler, AZ 85226
• Salary Range: $80,000 – $120,000 / year
• Citizenship Requirement: Must be a US Citizen (No dual citizenship permitted per government regulations).

Role Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining efficient manufacturing processes, equipment layouts, and workflows within an ISO9001/AS9100D facility. This role partners closely with R&D, Quality, and Operations to transition new products into production, design tooling/fixtures, and ensure manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities

• Process & Tooling Design: Develop assembly methods, design fixtures and tooling, and optimize equipment layouts for maximum efficiency.
• New Product Introduction (NPI): Collaborate with R&D during design reviews to evaluate product manufacturability and ensure smooth transitions to production.
• Continuous Improvement & Quality: Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities, handle non-conforming product dispositions, and define inspection criteria with QA.
• Documentation & ERP: Create and maintain process documentation, Methods of Manufacturing, and Bills of Materials (BOM) within the ERP system. Manage Engineering Change Requests/Orders (ECR/ECO).
• Supplier Collaboration: Coordinate with Materials and QA teams to define technical requirements, conduct supplier assessments, and resolve technical issues.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: Single US Citizenship required.
• Education & Experience: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering preferred, with 5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• CAD Proficiency: Demonstrated hands-on proficiency with SolidWorks.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of welding, machining, general manufacturing processes, and military specifications/requirements.
• Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, strong communication skills, and experience with MS Office and ERP systems.
