Shipping Lead-1st Shift

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee and coordinate daily activities of shipping team members to achieve
  
  

shipping goals while implementing process improvement initiative.

• Complete and maintain accurate shipping records, including packing lists, shipping labels, and bills of lading.
• Provide aid in transporting customer products by utilizing correct lifting methods to prevent injuries.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jack and cranes safely and efficiently to move and load
  
  

shipments.

• Identify and drive trucks, then maneuver them into designated dock locations to
  
  

enable team members to begin loading.

• Assist at the end of the department line to gather fully stocked racks and deliver them to the designated shipping dock locations as instructed.
• Help to organize inventory within the shipping area, ensuring proper stock levels.
• Inspect outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Demonstrate MITER Brands Guiding Principles in all business interactions.
