Maintenance Tech - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled lead maintenance tech to join our team in Gratz, PA. A successful candidate will bring a strong mechanical and electrical background, excellent communication skills, eagerness to move into a higher-level position, and experience in a manufacturing plant. POSITION - Maintenance Tech - Manufacturing Plant

LOCATION - Gratz, PA

HOURLY RATE - $26 -$30 per hour - Plus $1.50 per hour for SD - Hourly rate is based on experience and mechanical/electrical testing.

SHIFT - 2pm to 10:30pm - Monday - Friday

Job Responsibilities Include

• Perform departmental activities per standard operating procedures.
• Perform simple preventive maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and routine part replacements
• Fabricate / repair simple metal projects
• Assist Technicians to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, including PLC controlled CNC’s, welders, and saws.
• Maintain data entry for required written and electronic equipment logs.
• Proper usage of personal protective equipment.
• Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment.
  
  

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of related work experience required
• Certification from college or technical school preferred
• Demonstrable experience may be accepted in place of credentials
• Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, cutting, welding, fabrication, and tooling
• Must be able to read and follow blueprints and schematics
• Sense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work independently
• Computer literacy with the ability to learn new computer software programs
• Excellent written and oral communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to work in and promote a team environment.
