Machine Operator – Grave Shift (Extruder Operator)

📍 Fife, WA

💵 Starting Pay: $22–$25/hr $2/hr Shift Differential

⏰ Schedule: 2–2–3 Rotating

🌙 Hours: 6 PM – 6 AM

As an Extruder Operator in our Vinyl Extrusion division, you’ll be at the heart of the process—ensuring top‑tier product quality, equipment performance, and a safe work environment.

🌟 What You’ll Do

You’ll play an essential role in operating and maintaining extrusion equipment by:

• ⚙️ Operating 1–3 PVC extrusion lines to meet production and quality standards
• 🛠️ Safely disassembling, cleaning, rebuilding, and changing over extrusion tooling using overhead cranes
• 🔍 Performing visual inspections and taking precise measurements with calipers
• 🧹 Keeping your work area clean and organized—spray down equipment, sweep floors, remove debris
• 📝 Completing productivity reports, machine condition updates, bundle tickets, and work orders
• 📦 Assisting with packaging and forklift operations as needed
  
  

💡 What You Bring

• 🎓 Associate degree/technical school certificate or 6–12 months of related experience
• 🚜 Valid forklift certification
• 🗣️ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• 📘 Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and procedures
• ➗ Solid math skills (fractions, decimals, percentages, bar graphs)
• 🧩 Strong problem‑solving skills and comfort following detailed instructions
• ⚡ Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multitasking environment
