We are hiring CDL-A drivers based near Bartlett, TN for dry van routes. Enjoy steady miles, automatic trucks, and home time every week. Recent CDL graduates and experienced drivers are welcome to apply.
Job Details:
- Position: Company Driver
- Freight Type: Dry Van
- Equipment: Late-model automatic tractor-trailers
- Home Weekly
- Regional dry van lanes - no OTR, no extended time away
- Same routes, same freight, same schedule every week
- Full-time, dedicated account
Pay & Bonuses
- Average weekly earnings: $1,400 - $1,700
- CPM: 0.63 to start
- Weekly mileage: ~2,100 miles
- Short haul pay: $20/hour
- Sign-On Bonus: $2,000
- Stop pay: $15 per stop
Freight Handling:
- Mix of drop and hook, preload, and live load/unload
- No-touch freight
What we're looking for:
- Valid CDL-A license
- 21 years of age or older
- Clean driving record – minor violations acceptable
- No SAP program or DUI history
- No special endorsements required – new CDL graduates welcome
Your Day-to-Day:
- Drive dry van tractor-trailer on assigned regional lanes
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Communicate with dispatch on trip progress and ETAs
- Handle freight safely – mostly no-touch loads
- Plan routes to stay on schedule and maximize miles
