Overview
A family owned business is looking for an evening & morning dishwasher!
This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with a minimum of 1 year experience!
Responsibilities
- Assist with the prep list - slicing, chopping etc.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas
- Keep up with dishes at all times! Taking care of specific items as needed i.e. Hand wash over machine wash
- Support banquet and catering events by preparing food items as required
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Clean, organize , sweep & mop prep room daily
- Clean your dishwashing area daily - sweep & mop
- You are responsible for taking out trash at the end of the day
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment preferred
- Familiarity with culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing kitchen demands
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
