Job Summary

  • Seeking a skilled python developer for a contract role in the New York/New Jersey area.
  • This position involves working with a variety of technologies in a financial services setting.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in developing applications and handling data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain front office applications in a financial setting.
  • Conduct quantitative research and perform domain-specific data analysis.
  • Develop risk and pricing applications.
  • Utilize RESTful services and front-end frameworks for full-stack development.
  • Work with both object and relational databases to support application needs.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of hands-on programming experience in object-oriented languages.
  • 3 years of experience as a senior developer in financial services.
  • 3 years of experience in quantitative research and development.
  • 2 years of experience in risk and pricing application development.
  • 3 years of experience in REST and front-end framework development.
