Responsibilities
- Oversee all clinical and administrative operations within the Operating Room.
- Ensure the highest standards of nursing practice, patient safety, and quality care.
- Develop, implement, and maintain nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and families to support optimal outcomes.
- Participate in budgeting, fiscal management, and resource allocation.
- Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Current Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- 3-5 years of clinical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years leadership experience in the Operating Room.
- Proven expertise in nursing processes and clinical direction.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in budget planning and fiscal responsibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Demonstrated competence as a nursing practitioner and leader.
- Experience in staff development, hiring, and performance management.
- Active participation in quality and performance improvement activities.
- Commitment to maintaining safety, compliance, and best practices.
