Description
- Join a robust interventional-focused outpatient practice.
- Provide patient care for individuals with chronic health issues or injuries causing pain.
- Examine patients and review their medical history.
- Consult with other care providers to decide on therapy or treatment programs.
- Care for patients with chronic or acute pain.
- Collaborate with doctors and nurses to create treatment plans.
- Develop comprehensive pain management plans including interventional techniques and conservative treatments.
- Provide pain relief through therapeutic methods.
- Educate patients and families on pain alleviation and comfort.
- Act as a liaison between patients and doctors to evaluate medication effects and make necessary adjustments.
- Valid NP license with appropriate regional certification.
- In-depth knowledge of pain disorders.
- Ability to evaluate patients with complex pain disorders.
- Proficient in prescribing medications for pain management.
- Ability to use diagnostic tests to identify pain causes.
- Skill in basic injection techniques is preferred.
- Ability to align treatment with patient wishes and belief systems.
