Description

• This role involves managing a Med/Surg unit with a focus on Hemodialysis in Yonkers, NY.
• The position is full-time, requiring daytime shifts from Monday to Friday.
• The nurse manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring a safe and efficient care environment.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years experience as a staff Nurse.
• Licensed and currently registered as a Nurse in the State of New York.
• Experience in managing unit operations and staff scheduling.
• Ability to develop and implement staff competency plans.
• Skilled in conflict resolution and team-building strategies.
• Experience in budget monitoring and resource management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  

Qualifications

• BSN degree or national professional certification preferred.
• Experience in clinical and management roles.
• Knowledge of regulatory and policy matters.
• Proficiency in evaluating work performance and clinical competencies.
• Ability to counsel and coach staff effectively.
• Experience in interviewing and hiring staff.
