Description

  • Seeking a dedicated professional for a full-time Dental Hygienist position in Philadelphia, PA.
  • This onsite role involves providing comprehensive dental care and education to patients, ensuring high standards of oral health.
  • The position requires proficiency in patient care and digital radiography.

Requirements

  • Evaluate oral health, examining for periodontal disease, lesions, or cancers.
  • Assess dental condition using approved screening procedures.
  • Perform oral hygiene procedures as per treatment plans.
  • Expose and mount digital radiographs.
  • Apply fluoride treatments and protective sealants.
  • Take impressions for study models or appliances.
  • Administer local anesthesia.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Dental Hygienist with PA state licensure.
  • Local Anesthesia Permit.
  • Current CPR (BLS) certification.
  • Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner Permit preferred.
  • Experience with electronic health records systems a plus.
