Application Consultant - Java /JEE / Java Frameworks - New York, NY - Contract - $37-47 per HR

This is a hybrid position based in New York, NY, requiring 3 days onsite. The role involves working on software development and consulting projects, leveraging Java and related technologies. The position is contract-based, with opportunities for both W2 and C2C arrangements.

Description

  • Participate in software development projects using Java and related frameworks.
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Engage in full-stack development including front-end and back-end tasks.
  • Work with databases for performance tuning and complex queries.
  • Participate in mobile and AI-driven projects as needed.
  • Provide technical consulting and support to project teams.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software applications using Java and related technologies.
  • Implement microservices architecture for scalable applications.
  • Collaborate on AI-driven workflows and solutions.
  • Optimize database performance and manage data storage solutions.
  • Engage in problem-solving and innovation activities.

Qualifications

  • 7 years of experience with Java and related frameworks.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as Angular or React.
  • Experience with Python and mobile development preferred.
  • Strong understanding of database technologies and performance tuning.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
